by Developing a Website
and an Online Application for
“Jamaa’thuge Khabaru” Magazine
Jamaa’thuge Khabaru is the longest circulating magazine in the education sector of the Maldives. The main purpose of this magazine is to inculcate reading habit among the general public (adults and senior citizens) and to provide readers with knowledge and information on different topics and areas of interest to them. In addition, the magazine also provides a platform for both renowned and amateur writers to publish their articles and share their knowledge, experience and views on different matters. The magazine also publishes current information and news articles related to activities conducted in the education sector of Maldives.
Through this project, the Government seeks to develop a website and an online application (Android and Apple platforms), that could be used to easily access all the volumes and issues of the magazine, develop the application and website with features that enable easy content search and selection, and reduce the costs incurred on printing and physical distribution of the magazine.
