According to the Minister, the current government is hence heavily invested in promoting eco-friendly sustainable tourism and a broader sustainable blue economy.
The theme of the Government’s manifesto “Jazeera Raaje” –which literally translates to “Island Nation”, pledges to invest in a resilient, sustainable and a just Maldives, where the livelihoods of the people are elevated both economically and socially.
